Our selection principles

1. Character over a formula. Contemporary architecture, a carefully restored period house or an exceptional setting can all deserve a place.
2. A reason to look closer. Each home should offer something distinctive, beyond its asking price.
3. Honesty about the unknowns. Marketing claims, recorded facts, illustrations and unresolved questions stay distinct.
4. Credit where it belongs. Original agents, architects and filmmakers are attributed. A feature does not imply their endorsement.
